AIRFRAME
AEROSPACE SOLUTIONS
Aircraft frames are composed of lightweight materials to enable longer flight durations. These lightweight materials include aluminum (Al)
and composites that can cause challenges in airframe machining processes. Our cutting tools are designed to maximize
your manufacturing uptime and guarantee long-lasting performance.

AIRCRAFT SKIN & RIBS
Due to their increased strength, composite materials are a common choice when machining aircraft skin and rib components. Our cutting tools meet the complex needs associated with the milling and drilling of stacked materials such as Aluminum (Al) or titanium (Ti) alloys because they are specially designed to avoid breakout, delamination, fiber tear out, and the melting of the matrix material.
DSA
Machining airframe skin and rib components in titanium (Ti) alloys cause unique challenges. DSA drills are a perfect solution. DSA's TRI-Coolant Technology® with enhanced hole geometry increases coolant flow, which reduces cutting heat to prevent build-up edges and protect the sharpness of cutting edge, improving
machine production and cycle time.
